A special Surprise and Delight Mother’s Day box, a collaboration of wonderful local South Australian women has been curated for Mother’s Day.

South Australian food ambassador and Director of Woodside Cheese Wrights, Kris Lloyd, has brought together leading female South Australian producers including Sparkke’s Rose Kentish, Evebud’s Evie Harrison and Kangaroo Island Spirits Sarah Lark.

Kris said, “In these unusual times, some of us can’t see our mum due to isolation and social distancing, when all we want to do is give them a big kiss and a hug.  

“We have worked with a group of amazing women bringing the ultimate cheese experience for Mother’s Day. We have carefully curated the boxes so all you need is a couple of glasses, a cheese board and knives, so your mum can relax and enjoy.”

The boxes feature Woodside Cheese Wrights popular Goat Milk Vigneron, a delicate little goat brie style wrapped in vine leaves, Charleston Jersey Brie a delightful soft cheese which is made from local Adelaide Hills milk and the multi award winning pretty as a picture Monet, a goat’s milk handmade cheese that includes organic edible flowers.

The packs also include Kris Lloyd Artisan G & C, a collaboration with Kangaroo Island Spirits (KIS) which is a mild creamy cheddar infused with KIS Wild Gin.

The perfect additions to the cheeses are Kris Lloyd Artisan’s beautiful plump and succulent fruit from the Riverland, the Fig, Walnut and Almond Log an irresistible sweetbread highly addictive and made locally to compliment the many goat cheeses and Monet crackers which are infused with organic edible flowers.

Mum’s can also enjoy their cheese board with Sparkke’s “Women’s Work” Gin made in collaboration with Brogan’s Way Distillery which perfectly matches Sparkke’s award winning, low carb, low sugar Hard Lemonade, which is made by fermenting Riverland citrus and champagne yeast.

Local talented young florist Evie Harisson of Evebud has created a beautiful Tussie Mussie bouquet which is made from healing herbs and flowers, locally grown and picked with so much love.
