After much anticipation, the lineup of artists for Splendour in the Grass has finally been announced, promising an exciting weekend this July in North Byron. Headlining acts include Chance The Rapper, Childish Gambino, SZA, as well as Catfish And The Bottlemen.
Of course with any great festival lineup there’s a wide selection of popular Aussie acts including Matt Corby, Courtney Barnett, The Rubens, and of course Tame Impala fresh off the release of their new single ‘Patience’ and their 2019 Coachella set.
After headlining Coachella last year, What So Not is powering in with what promises to be an exciting set. In contrast, acts like Santigold and Grammy-winning band The Lumineers are also programmed alongside, offering a diverse experience with something for everyone regardless if you’re a fan or rap, indie rock, or more international sounds.
As it has been every year, Splendor will be held again in the North Byron Parklands, only about 9km from Brunswick heads. It’s easy to get to if you’re traveling along the pacific highway via either Brisbane or Newcastle.
The festival will take place on July 19 till 21, with campgrounds opening up a few days prior on July 17.
