Spoil mum this Mother’s Day with Adelaide Convention Centre’s riverside buffet

The Adelaide Convention Centre’s stunning East Building will be the setting for a celebratory Mother’s Day buffet lunch this year.

It’s never too early to plan your Mother’s Day celebrations, and with 9 May quickly approaching, we have found the perfect treat for the best mum ever!

The Adelaide Convention Centre’s stunning East Building will be the setting for a celebratory Mother’s Day buffet lunch this year, combining a delicious SA-inspired menu, entertainment and stunning views overlooking the Adelaide Riverbank.

A celebration designed for the whole family, mum will be able to sit back and relax while enjoying beautiful musical entertainment by the pianist, while the kids are kept entertained with a range of special children’s activities, including Lego, a variety of garden party games, and a special appearance by comical magician Bumbles the Clown.

The lunch menu boasts a range of delicious hot and cold options with everything from antipasto to house-made sushi, South Australian seafood marinara, Dijon-crusted roast leg of Murraylands lamb, hunter chicken and red kidney bean ‘Chilli sin Carne’ just to name a few.

Even the kids will be spoiled for choice with favourites such as fish and chips, cheeserburger sliders and pasta Napolitana before the grand finale for both mum and the kids, dessert.

The irresistible selection of house-made ice cream and gelato, along with assorted individual desserts, tarts and cake pops prepared by the Adelaide Convention Centre’s talented pastry chefs are guaranteed to have your mouth watering.

If the food alone isn’t enough to spoil mum and show her just how much she means, each mum in attendance will also receive a gift bag to take home, jam packed with goodies from brands such as Jurlique, Davroe, Haighs, Wallis and T Bar.

Getting there will be made easy on the day with free parking in the Adelaide Convention Centre’s North Terrace and Riverbank carparks.

Tickets to the event are $69 per adult, and $35 for children (2-12 years) and doors open Sunday, 9 May at 12noon for a 12:30pm start, with festivities concluding at 2:30pm just in time for a riverside stroll to call it a day.

To purchase tickets and to learn more visit the Adelaide Convention Centre’s website.

Adelaide Convention Centre is located at North Terrace.
