As Spring brings new life, The Loft Oyster & Wine Bar refreshes palates with a new menu, expanded by newly appointed head chef, Joseph Quiniones, former Sous Chef/Acting Head Chef at Celsius Restaurant and Bar. Joseph feels that his time working at such renowned venues as The Manse and Celsius have taught him the importance of using fresh produce and the idea and beauty of ‘product to plate’. This is evident in the new menu being showcased at The Loft.
Adelaide foodies can now enjoy food at The Loft. In addition to their oyster, mezze and cocktail menu, The Loft now offers a complete selection of meals with entrees and mains set to satisfy all tastes.
Perched one level above Gouger Street, the sophisticated one of a kind space currently boasting a smooth, relaxed atmosphere, will become the ultimate end to end dining experience as of this Spring. The Loft continues to place particular emphasis on pairings, with food and wine being tried and tested to offer their most complete culinary experience yet.
The Spring menu is one not to be missed, with entrees to fulfill all epicurean preferences including ‘Sweet Potato, Brown Butter, Sage and Macadamia Ravioli’ and ‘Poached Chicken with Ginger Broth, Wild Rice, Garlic Crisps, Spring Onion & Coriander’. A divine selection of mains is on offer featuring ‘Fish with Asparagus, Leek, Broccolini, Squash, Oyster & Porcini Sauce’ and ‘Lamb with Potato, Celeriac, Parsnip, Jerusalem Artichoke, Garlic Custard & Pea Puree’ as well as the succulent Seafood Platter.
Those with a sweet tooth can indulge on the ‘Sweet of the Week’ or choose from either of the set desserts, ‘Turon’ – a banana, cinnamon sugar and chocolate sauce combination or ‘Leche Flan’ with milk caramel and lime zest ice cream, all of which can be wine matched to your liking.
The Loft Wine Bar is open 3pm – 12am Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays, and 3pm – 2am Fridays & Saturdays.
