To celebrate the opening of the new St Clair Oval on 15th February, the Woodville District Cricket Club took on Steve Waugh and the reigning SANFL premiers, the Woodville West Torrens Football Club (Eagles) in an all star Twenty 20 cricket match.
The match included past and present cricket and football players including Steve Waugh, Trent Hentschel, Luke Powell, Bernie Vince, Jared Petrenko (Eagles / Adelaide Crows), Tim Neilsen (former Australian coach and Redback) and other local sports stars.
