One of Port Willunga’s many gems recently announced a re-vamp of their space, with both Star of Greece and the Port Willy Kiosk undergoing renovations.
The exciting news was announced on Facebook earlier this week, and is promising to become even better than it was before – impossible, right?!
Not only will the renovations see a larger kitchen for the Port Willy Kiosk who are keeping up with the ever growing demand of locals and visitors to the area, but also a brand-new bar for Star of Greece.
The new bar and dining space will seat 30 people, and face West in a prime direction to take in the Port Willy beach through bi-fold windows that will let in the fresh sea breeze.
Alongside the epic new expansion will be seven brand-new toilets for the Port Willy Kiosk, with builders already getting works underway, and owner Nikki Goven hoping to have the project completed by summer later this year.
For now, the Port Willy Kiosk has closed while the works are ongoing, but Star of Greece is still open for business dishing up their well-known delicious seafood for as long as they can throughout the process.
Upon completion, the space will be able to host 110 people for sit down meals, and 150 people for cocktail events evolving the space into the ultimate private function zone for birthdays or special occasions.
Currently, they’re not taking bookings for the new area until they have a clear date for completion, but we are sure it’s going to be well worth the wait.
