The Star of Greece has revealed their gorgeous recently renovated space to the public, following a year-long re-vamp of the beloved restaurant.
A long-time gem of Port Willunga, the restaurant has undergone a major upgrade to its main dining area and associated kiosk, with an extended space, added that now accommodates up to 110 people for a sit-down meal.
Bi-fold glass windows within the new area open out to reveal the stunning Port Willunga waters, letting in the fresh sea breeze for those balmy summer visits.
A brand new freshly updated bathroom compliments the new space, with an underground cellar also added to store their extensive wine selection.
The kiosk which has now been completed was the final stage of the renovations.
Nikki Govan owner of Star of Greece says she is very excited to show the public the finished renovations.
“It feels like it’s been years in the making. We now have 7 new toilets, a new dining space, a gorgeous new bar and a new Kiosk.”
“It’s a shame we are in these current restrictions and cant have our normal numbers, but the reality is I don’t think the lifting of the restrictions will be too far away and we will be back at capacity and will have many visitors with intrastate and interstate travel, its a really exciting future.”
The same mouth-watering menu is on offer.
“We don’t pretend to be a soley seafood restaurant. We have a very strong seafood menu, but we also have a full wonderful menu where we cook Wagu on the open grill as well as plenty of other proteins and meat options. We really have something for everyone from kids to adults.”
Star of Greece is open for business daily from noon, dishing up their delicious menu for guests to devour, for lunch and dinner seatings.
