Oz Comic-Con is returning to the Adelaide Showground on Saturday the 1st and Sunday the 2nd of June. Fans of all things pop culture can expect an exciting weekend jam-packed with activities and appearances by stars from popular TV shows such as Supernatural, Once Upon a Time, and Wynonna Earp.

The event follows a successful run in Perth and promises to offer an equally exciting experience. Pop culture lovers can explore an array of activations, exhibitors, workshops, and competitions, suitable for fans from all fandoms.

The announcement of the celebrity guest lineup has created even more excitement, featuring Emilie de Ravin, known for her roles in Roswell, Lost, and Once Upon a Time; Jim Beaver, from Supernatural, Deadwood, and The Boys; and Melanie Scrofano of Wynonna Earp and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds fame. The celebrities will engage in question and answer sessions, and fans will have the opportunity to meet them during signing and photo sessions.

Voice actors such as Brian Beacock and Christina Kelly will also be able to chat with fans through Q&As. Beacock is known for his work in Dragon Ball Super and Blue Exorcist, while Kelly has lent her voice to characters in One Piece and Chainsaw Man.

The event will also highlight local talent, featuring writers and illustrators such as Alex Trpcevski, Christof Bogacs, and David Hazan. The cosplay scene will stand-out, with figures like JusZ Cosplay, Rhyleep, and Chesh Rae sharing their experience and craftsmanship.

One of the highlights of Oz Comic-Con is the Australian Championships of Cosplay. The contest is one of the most prestigious in Australia, and showcases exceptional talent and craftsmanship from across the country. Champions from the regional rounds will go to Sydney for the finals, where they will compete to claim the title of the Australian Champion of Cosplay for 2024.
