Start Your Days At WOMAD With Free Yoga

Limber up for dancing later on in the day with some downward dogs, bound lotus, camel and happy baby poses.

How does a free yoga session to start your day at WOMAD sound?

The four-day open-air celebration of music, arts and dance is back on March 8-11, and Power Living Yoga Adelaide will be hosting free yoga sessions just after the gates open on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

So you can start your festival days with some downward dogs, bound lotus, camel and happy baby poses. Or, for those who are perhaps moving a bit slowly from the festivities the day before, you can join in for some extreme Savasana.

Power Living Yoga’s senior teachers Tessa Leon, Triton Tunis-Mitchell and Adam Whiting will be leading the sessions, which will be suitable for all abilities.

The sessions are on:

Saturday March 9, 11am @ Moreton Bay Stage

Sunday March 10, noon @ Moreton Bay Stage AND Novatech Stage

Monday March 11, noon @ Moreton Bay Stage AND Novatech Stage

Yoga mats are NOT provided, so make sure you BYO yoga mat (or picnic rug, or even just a sarong will do just nicely).

You can read more about it here.
