Calling all fans of the prancing horse! The Ferrari Club SA is hosting its annual Festival of Ferrari, promising a spectacle of more than 50 of the coveted sports cars at The Bend Motorsport Park.
The Festival of Ferrari is in its third year of celebration, with festivities planned to make any car lover, a Ferrari fan.
The free event is hosted by Ferrari Club SA, who are hoping to welcome hundreds to the track. President of Ferrari Club SA Merv Davies is excited to showcase some of the rarest and most exclusive models of Ferrari that the state has ever seen.
“The weekend will start with a Friday night welcome party for our members, where a selection of beautiful cars will be judged in a Concorso Car display, and the winners awarded in a separate event in December,” Merv said.
Ferrari SA Club members won’t be the only ones able to enjoy the festivities.
On Saturday, September 10 Ferrari Club SA is officially welcoming the public to its packed day of four-wheel action.
On the day you will have the opportunity to see parade laps with children from the Dream Ride Foundation.
President Merv Davies emphasised the importance of helping charities using the Ferrari Club platform to promote causes that the club chooses to align with. Over the years, The Ferrari Club has raised tens of thousands of dollars for many charities including Little Heroes and The Epilepsy Centre just to name a few.
There will also be an open track pit lane walk, for fans to mingle amongst the Ferraris from 11.45am -12.15pm.
Throughout the day, spectators will also be able to check out the cars on the track, while the owners take the Ferraris out on the circuit.

- Ferrari 488 Challenge Race Cars
- Ferrari SP 1
For those who haven’t been to The Bend Motorsport Park before, there’s plenty of spots to set up and enjoy the day, with a popular option being to book at the APEX Bar x Dining, which is located on Level 1, in the heart of the main pit building. You can book a table looking directly over pit straight and the starting grid and while you enjoy the modern Australian menu, with SA beer, wine and gins to pair. There’s also a huge viewing platform that overlooks the pits.
Accommodation is also available at the Big4 at The Bend, and the Ridges Pit Lane Hotel.
This event promises to be unlike any other Ferrari event you’ve seen. So why not head to The Bend this Saturday and soak up some sunshine and see the greatest Ferrari spectacle that SA has to offer?
