Well, we are happy to let you know that the epic architect-designed retreat as featured in everyone’s new favourite Amazon Prime show, ‘Nine Perfect Strangers.’ The binge-worthy series is based on a best-selling book and it might just fill the Big Little Lies shaped gap in your life.
While this luxury accomodation offering may be a little out of budget for the average person, we can still dream! Take a look inside the Airbnb where the show was filmed.
Soma Retreat is tucked privately into the Byron Bay hinterland, proving to be the perfect backdrop for Nicole Kidman’s character, Masha, who runs a mysterious wellness getaway for tired but rich city folk.
In Soma Retreat’s own words: “recapture your creativity and immerse yourself in 22-acres of rainforest outside of Byron Bay at this modern hinterland home. Throw that unforgettable corporate getaway, yoga retreat, or family reunion; Soma was designed with group activity in mind. There are 10 bedrooms for guests to sleep in, all with their own private ensuite with a luxurious rain shower. While a maximum of 16 people can stay in the Airbnb at one time, there is ample dining space if you would like entertain more people.
Stand out features include the stunning floor to ceiling windows to let the glorious Byron sunlight filter in, the meticulously designed decor and of course, the iconic yoga-dome, which fans of the show would be able to recognise instantly.
If you are really feeling indulgent, you can even hire staff and services, such as massage therapists and meditation guides.
