Take a stroll along Adelaide’s beautiful River Torrens with this calm mentoring session hosted by Mentor Walks Adelaide.
The hour-long event is available for women in Adelaide to connect with a group of likeminded individuals at any stage of their career.
The concept is simple, an hour long walk with an experienced female mentor who helps you become the best career woman you can.
Mentor Walks hand-match you to a mentor who is best suited to support you, and they remind walkers no question is too big, too small or too vague.
Co-founder of Mentor Walks Bobbi Mahlab says the conversations held on these walks are important for women in taking the next step in their careers.
“Career women have issues big and small and often it is hard to find impartial people to go to for advice,” she said.
Mentors provide advice on a number of challenges such as getting a promotion, asking for a pay rise, influencing executive teams, and managing up or when to launch a business or product.
For the price of $33, gain insight with a leading professional and spend an hour meeting lifelong friends. Walkers are encouraged to wear comfy and warm clothes for the early start of 7:10am.
Mentor Walks have spent 5 years bringing their mentoring program for women across Australia and are thrilled to finally bring the service to Adelaide.
Their mentor team includes some of Australia’s most successfully CEOs, founders, executives, directors and inspirational leaders from diverse backgrounds coming from every corner of the business world.
Since its launch in 2016, Mentor Walks have supported over 5,000 mentees across Australia and have built a community of over 360 diverse leaders.
This event is also welcoming and respectful of all – including trans women, non-binary and gender non-conforming peoples.
