Steven ter Horst’s New Store Is Serving Up Free Hot Chocolate

Shake off that winter chill with a free hot chocolate expertly made by the one and only Steven ter Horst.

Adelaide, our very own chocolatier, Steven ter Horst, has recently launched his store on King William Road, Hyde Park.

The only news better than this is that in a bid to shake off a dreary winter, Steven ter Horst is giving away hot chocolates!

“We invite customers in to experience a real hot chocolate, European style,” says Steven. “We use Couverture to give a rich taste and everyone who visits us on Saturday, August 17 from 9am until 5.30pm is welcome to a free hot chocolate.”

The day will also feature samples of Steven’s honeycomb, rocky road and more.

You can also choose from a variety of hot chocolate flavours! There is Hazelnut Praline, Fruit de Bois (Berries), Mint, London Fog, Spanish Spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamon, pimenton), Aztec Chilli (Jalapeno, Birds Eye, Kashmiri Chilli, cinnamon and star anise).

“We create truly unique flavour combinations,” says Steven. “Our latest edition to our chocolates is a Sour Cherry Compote paired with a Szechuan pepper ganache. We reinvented the old school Rocky Road into Rainbow Road: peanuts, marshmallow, honeycomb and freeze-dried raspberries.”

“The latest invention is called the London Fog Hot Chocolate: French Earl Grey Tea from T2, infused into a delicious dark chocolate mix.
