After massive demand following the first class, Adelaide favourite plant boutique Stonecrop and Adelaide clay master, artist extraordinaire Fruzsi Kenez (AKA Fruzsikenezart) are teaming up again for a second planter workshop!
The workshop will take place in an intimate setting on 27 May at Stonecrops Goodwood Road location, and guests can expect to create their very own pots and even select the plants that find their forever home inside them, and no clay experience is necessary.
Running for 2.5 hours, the planter class is also completely catered for with drinks and a gourmet snack platter accommodating both vegan and vegetarian dietary requirements to fuel your clay making evening.
Stonecrop owner Keta Grishaj said she first met Fruzsi when she came into the shop and got to know her over a mutual love for all things homewares and of course…plants!
“She obviously has a lot of experience and has been doing this for years and years. She pitched the idea of doing a planter workshop in the shop. I loved it,” says Keta.
“It’s basically a really intimate little gathering in the shop at night, and they get to make about two to three pots so it’s not just one pot that you make.
“When they come back to the shop to pick up their fired pots, they get to pick out plants to go into those pots too.”
The class is super limited, but Keta says pending popularity (we have a feeling this won’t be an issue), the talented duo will consider opening a second night for the plant-obsessed to come into Stonecrop and try their hand at gorgeously handmade clay pots.
