We are not shy here at Glam about our insane obsession for all things cheese… We love it. So, you can only imagine our excitement as time draws closer and closer to this year’s Vale Brewing CheeseFest – hello, it is on THIS weekend!
We plan on spending every second we can at this amazing Festival which begins on Friday 23 October at 4pm. Yes, that is the perfect place for a Friday night knock off and a whole bunch of delicious cheese as the twilight affair ends at 8pm! The cheesy goodness continues over Saturday from 12pm – 7pm and Sunday from 11am – 5pm.
With all the deliciousness happening conveniently in Rymill Park, this year marks a significant milestone as the CheeseFest celebrates its tenth year as an annual Festival. We’ll cheese to that…
The brainchild of Adelaide’s notorious ‘Cheese Queen’ and Glam Adelaide’s go to for all things cheese, Kris Lloyd from Woodside Cheese Wrights, the CheeseFest actually began as a thought scribbled on a dinner napkin. Well thank god for that because we don’t actually know what we would do without the Festival now that it exists.
Fun fact: Adelaide’s very own CheeseFest is the largest cheese Festival in Australia.
This year sees Vale Brewing jumping onboard as the Major Sponsor which just adds to the deliciousness of the Festival. They will be bringing along their new experimental beer which will make its special debut at the event. We can’t wait to try!
From tastings, talks, cooking sessions and picnic trails there will be something for everyone, even if you don’t like cheese (which is just weird) this will be ‘one big cheese party’ (and there ain’t no party like a cheese party).
