Stop everything. We’ve found popcorn halloumi

The Popcorn Halloumi, or Halloumi Popcorn, was introduced by Sublime’s Head Chef in a bid to further feed the vegetarian market.

Popcorn chicken, popcorn cauliflower, popcorn tofu, popcorn … halloumi?

Yes, you read that right.

Crispy, salty, and undoubtedly delicious, some (most) would say halloumi is a must with any brunch order.

Whether munched on with smashed avo, as a burger filling, or in a salad, halloumi is an extremely versatile menu item.

Sublime Cafe has taken that versatility to a whole new level with the addition of Popcorn Halloumi.

The Popcorn Halloumi, or Halloumi Popcorn, was introduced by Head Chef Amanda, in a bid to further feed the vegetarian market.

According to Sublime Cafe, the Halloumi Popcorn can be ordered as a side, or added to other menu items.

Word on the street is it should be eaten with Sublime’s house made tomato relish or lemon aioli.

Sublime Cafe’s menu features a range of both sweet and savoury items to satisfy your hunger, including the Big Breakfast Roll with bacon, fried egg, hash brown, American cheddar, house made aioli, and tomato chutney, and the Greek Yoghurt Pannacotta with toasted house made granola and pear nectar.

The coffee is Sublime’s own blend, and the cafe is licensed, so a cold beer or a glass of vino is not out of the question with your lunch.

There’s also an outdoor dining area where dogs are more than welcome, and Sublime can accomodate functions for up to 80 guests.

You can find Sublime Cafe at 55 East Ave, Clarence Park SA 5034.
