Mount Lofty Adventure Hub zipline
While scenic walks and hikes amongst the greenery are available for everyone at Mount Lofty, an alternative excursion for the adventurous soul can be found at Mount Lofty Adventure Hub.
The Mount Lofty Adventure Hub has officially reopened after temporarily closing doors due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The grand reopening took place on May 30, with the Rock Climb, Abseil and Zipline Experience back on offer. The experience is all ages appropriate and includes rock climbing, abseiling asp art of the 15 metre adventure tower, and SA’s longest zipline, which spans 324 metres of the forest.
It’s also the perfect time for an adventure in Mount Lofty with the stunning views of forest greenery as far as the eye can see, paired with fresh air. It certainly is an invigorating combination!
The Experience runs every Saturday and Sunday, as well as throughout the school holidays, and can be booked online as individuals or in groups. Weekend sessions are based on 3 set times a day and book out at 10 people per session.

So what’s currently on offer at Mount Lofty Adventure Hub?
Low ropes and the High Ropes Challenge Courses in the trees
Mount Lofty Adventure Hub do offer group courses that open up their complete range of experiences, where visitors can undertake their low ropes course, or select an experience from the High Ropes Challenge Course that weaves its way through the tree tops ten metres above the forest floor.
(With 15 different elements available, clients opt for the course that they wish to do during the booking process).
Groups sessions for the Challenge Course, or private Adventure Tower experiences, can take bookings for up to 40 people at once.
You likely won’t be able to prevent doing your best American Ninja impersonation over the series of ropes and tire swings.
Or should you dare the Leap of Faith trapeze.
There’s no need for nervousness though, the challenge course is a group event, so you have a heap of support, and you’ll have a training course from their qualified instructors and some fun trials before you get into it.
Adventure Tower
The Adventure Tower also waits, with rock climbing, abseiling and the state’s longest Zipline.
Alongside the Adventure Tower is their unique three-person Mega Swing – the perfect opportunity for you to end your group outing.
The Mega Swing’s 18-metre drop also provides you with the most amazing views of the entire Woodhouse grounds.
