Stunning Views And Winter Wines At Atze’s Corner’s Reopened Cellar Door

Barossa winery Atze’s Corner has reopened their cellar door, so winter wines and stunning views are back on the cards.

Barossa winery, Atze’s Corner has announced their cellar door’s reopening now that COVID-19 restrictions continue to ease.

The stunning Valley we’re told is looking amazing after above average rainfall for April and May, the rolling green hills and cover crops growing between the vine rows are the perfect accompaniment to a nice glass of red wine.

With cellar doors reopening earlier than expected, the Atze’s team is thrilled to offer wine tastings again to the public with the beautiful winter views of the Valley from the Vineyard Terrace.

The break has given the Kalleske family a chance to make some changes to the Cellar Door, menu and wine tastings.

All with more comfort for the visitor and focus on the wines, with some new limited release wines now available for tasting as part of the unique offering.

Old Vine Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon plus some amazing alternative varieties making the visit the perfect one to warm your toes during the winter.

Visitors can expect to see more of the Kalleske family as they readjust to the new COVID-19 social distancing measures.

Assistant winemaker (and winemaker’s wife) Isabelle will also be on hand to help out with her winemaking expertise.

Isabelle grew up on a vineyard in Bordeaux, France so is a wealth of knowledge for guests to learn from.

Atze’s will reopen its doors this Saturday on June 6, from 1pm ’til sunset and for the rest of the June long weekend, Sunday and Monday from 12pm ’til 5pm.

A new hearty local produce platter will be available for guests to enjoy on the Vineyard Terrace with a bottle or glass of wine.

You will taste wines in comfort served at your table, with two tasting tiers available from the Atze’s estate range.

Bookings are not necessary but due to limited capacity under the new COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, Atze’s Corner recommends coming in early as first in will be best dressed.

Find Atze’s Corner Wines at 451 Research Rd, Nuriootpa SA 5355.
