Styled vintage fashion market expands, moves to new venue

Styled Market has announced their expansion, and move to a bigger venue which will showcase over 50 stallholders.

Styled Market has announced their expansion, and move to a bigger venue.

The vintage fashion market is making its new home in Adelaides East End upstairs at 223 Flinders Street, formerly the German Club.

The venue is no stranger to market events, having previously hosted the Round She Goes fashion markets. Now with Styled settling in to the space, you’ll be able to enjoy vintage and pre-loved fashion finds every 4-6 weeks.

Bernie Elston, the driving force behind Styled, has always loved vintage, originally owning the Onyx Vintage store in a Rundle Mall arcade. After a year there, she evolved her offering into the Styled Markets, which have been held every month to two months over the past two years.

Bernie says the decision to move the markets from Chateau Apollo was due to overwhelming demand for market stalls.

“Previously we’ve had around 20 stalls at each market, with those spots selling out up to two months before the event date, so now with the new venue, we’ll be able to host over 50 stalls.”

A majority of the stalls you’ll find there are vintage clothing and pre-loved clothing, and there’s also jewellery, candles, skincare, vintage homewares, macrame and more.

Regular stallholders include Throw Shoe, Naked Pony, Sustainable Clothing Co, Rose and Ward Vintage, The Drop Off Vintage, The Vintologists, Pound Puppy, Floral Discotheque & Vintage Pix.

The first date for Style in the new location is confirmed for March 13th from 11am to 3:30pm.

Styled Market is now taking submissions of interest for stalls, including a new area for food/drink/coffee stalls.
