It’s widely known that Friday evenings are synonymous with wine and a good time, and there’s no better backdrop than the cosy and vibey Summertown Studio.
Following the smashing success of previous years, Summertown’s WINETIME series is back with a stacked calendar of seven Friday night events until October – and the first one is 20 June!
It’s “the literal best” in local music, food and booze. Each event hosts a different local musician – some of the most established in Adelaide – alongside a rotating street food vendor with names like Filipino Project, Braising Boy, Wild Woodfired Pizza, Sooki La La, and Peel Street Pop Up expected in this year’s lineup.
No need to book, just turn up, and $5 at the door. Keep in mind that these events have been wildly popular in the past, so if you’re eyeing off the couches to set up camp, we’d recommend arriving early. But the alternative would be grooving your way around the dance floor, so really, everyone is a winner.
Artists joining the fun are Kara Manansala (July 11), Live Slug Reaction (August 1), Ms Chipeta (August 15), Phez (September 12), Soylent Green (September 26), and Silk (October 10).
Call your mates and head down to Summertown for “good local times,” and arguably the grooviest Friday knock-off.
WINETIME will run 5 – 10pm on select Fridays until October 10.
