In the heart of a repurposed warehouse, close by the sea in Somerton Park, you’ll find the utterly lovely Summertown Studio.
If you haven’t yet stumbled upon this hidden seaside beauty, you’re missing out on a cool, calm and collected co-working space / coffee shop / record shop / vintage market / plant store / relaxed local hangout / all-round good time.
It pretty much ticks all the boxes you need to enjoy yourself in a collaborative creative space, AND the good news is that the studio is now hosting a series of Friday nights to remember.
Kicking off this Friday 16 October, Summertown Studio begins their summer sundown wine time events.
Happening every Friday night for the next six weeks from 5pm ’til 10, you can expect good wine, soulful beats and delicious food.
This Friday will see local legends, Hither & Yon pouring their famous grape juice for you to enjoy, live jazz by Django Rowe and friends, and your stomachs will be kept full by some extra tasty snacks from CAROclub.
The studio will also be slinging a few cans from Mismatch Brewing Company, and whipping up a spritz or two with Applewood Distillery.
Each week the studio will house a different food truck and live act, so no two weeks will be the same. We won’t judge if you attend all six events…
So gather your favourite humans and head to Summertown Studio this Friday night. We’ll see you there.
