Renmark is set to turn up the volume this spring as Sun & Sounds Renmark returns to the lawns of Twenty Third Street Distillery on Saturday, 18 October for its second year. After a sold-out debut, the event has already carved out its place as one of the Riverland’s most exciting music festivals.
Venue Supervisor Jasmine Morgan says the magic of Sun & Sounds Renmark comes from the way it brings people together.
“The event was a huge hit with locals in particular and we had so many ex-Riverlanders return home for a weekend and reunite with friends.”
“Visitors can expect to be blown away by the Riverland’s energy and vibe. It’s that mix of homecoming, celebration and summer fun that makes Sun & Sounds Renmark so hard to resist.”

The festival will once again be an intimate gathering.
“With 300 tickets in total, and only 100 left with a few weeks to go, everyone will feel like part of something unique and most importantly, it’s not going to be overcrowded. There are no long lines and you’re never too far from the action. You can actually dance with your mates, grab a cocktail without waiting ages and enjoy the music up close.”
The drinks list is shaping up to be a highlight. Jasmine says the focus is always on cocktails that capture the essence of summer.
“For us it’s about creating the flavours of summer in a glass. Our brand new Limoncello, released in September, is already stealing the show. It’s light, fresh and absolutely perfect for those warm Renmark afternoons.”

“Then you’ve got the Sparkling Bellini, made with our Tropical Gin, bringing those juicy mango, passionfruit and pineapple flavours. We really try to design drinks that taste like a holiday, colourful, refreshing and made to enjoy with friends.”
Food is also set to shine with Riverland producers and food stalls.
“Think festival-style dining with a Riverland twist, share plates, fresh flavours and delicious bites that pair perfectly with cocktails in hand,” Jasmine says.
“Guests can expect local food stalls that keep the energy casual, social and fun. On the lawns, the atmosphere is all about kicking back with friends, grabbing a bite and soaking in the music as the sun goes down.”
“The festival starts with Adelaide band Day Drive bringing the live energy with a set that’s guaranteed to get everyone up and moving,” Jasmine says.

“DJs Sarez and DJ Nages keep the party going, spinning all the best from the 80s, 90s and 00s. The mix of live music and nostalgic DJ sets creates a perfect flow of energy that carries the night through, ensuring no one’s heading home early.”
Looking ahead, Jasmine sees the event becoming a permanent part of the Riverland event calendar.
“Sun & Sounds Renmark has all the ingredients to become a Riverland tradition.”

We’d love to see it grow each year, continuing to showcase incredible music, Twenty Third Street Distillery spirits and that unbeatable distillery atmosphere.
“Our goal is to keep it boutique and special but expand its reputation so it becomes the kind of event people plan their next trip to Renmark around. It is the one weekend you don’t want to miss in the Riverland,” Jasmine says.
