The Sunday Funday Markets were co-founded by Adelaide mums and long-time friends Katelyn Ellery and Kimberley Hunt.
“Together our families both love a good weekend market, we often attend as many as we can. For us, it was imperative to create a relaxed atmosphere allowing families to come and share in the events offerings and activities,” Katelyn said.
“Our markets also offer the opportunity for young creatives to showcase their talents. We believe as parents ourselves that encouraging children to participate in markets teaches many fundamental skills such as self-esteem, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. This opportunity allows siblings, friends and families to buddy up together and sell their preloved, hand made gifts and so much more.”
