Get excited – Adelaide’s only Mexican Bar Chihuahua Bar have announced two very special Sunday Lunch Club events in October. The trendy Peel Street bar want you to experience a Sunday lunch with a difference…
Chihuahua Lunch Club continues to deliver the goods with Brendon Keys of BK Wines sharing his formally trained kitchen skills, followed by the double-act of Amber McMahon and Sarah Giles, in town for the State Theatre Company production of The Popular Mechanicals.
The intimate setting with involve only 20 guests who will get to experience the dishes that the Chefs cook for their own families and close friends. With a real insight into their cultural heritage, family secrets all encompassed around comfortable conversation, this will be a real ‘family feel’ event.
Starting with the BK Wines event on Sunday 11 October, Adelaide Hills winemaking legend, Brendon Keys will be matching his Spring releases to a creative (and delicious) menu.
In his past life Brendon was a chef, so guests at Chihuahua Lunch Club can expect him to bring the same attention to detail, top quality and flavour that we have come to expect from his wines.
Join the fun as we see what the Kiwi expat cooks up to match some South Australia’s favourite wines.
Following on from this cracker and being held on Sunday 25 October comes Performance Anxiety. Led by the the award winning, hilarious Amber McMahon and directed by former Sydney Theatre Company Resident Director Sarah Giles (in town for State Theatre Company production The Popular Mechanicals), this Lunch Club is part lunch, part show but certainly all PARTY!
Amazing food, matched with stunning wine and a whole lot of laughter… That sounds like a side splitting lunch to us and for all the right reasons!
