There’s no better way to ward off the it’s-Monday-tomorrow blues than with a good ol’ Sunday market. Whether you love a traditional farmer’s market, or you’re looking for something with a little more spunk, Adelaide’s without a doubt one of the best places to be on a Sunday morning.
Thinking this Sunday might be the perfect time to spend your morning wandering the various stalls, buying unique trinkets to show off to all your mates while sipping a coffee? The newly announced Make It Mine Market at Henley Square Pavilion sounds like your cup of tea (or coffee) and from what we can tell it’s going to be your one-stop-shop for everything arts, crafts and fashion.
With their first ever market starting this Sunday 24 September and continuing on the last Sunday of every month, it looks set to be a goody. There’ll be over 50 specialty stalls from local and small businesses, so at least when you inevitably spend over your budget you’ll feel good knowing you’re supporting the local community. Not to mention there’ll be some fab eats on offer from The Ramsgate Hotel, all the coffee you need to keep you awake on a Sunday morning thanks to The Coffee Club, the Plastik People laying down some DJ tunes, and so much more.
So set that alarm, drink some water to get rid of that inescapable hangover, and breathe in the fresh sea air as you traverse some of Adelaide’s artiest, craftiest and most fashionable stalls.
