Sunday. The International Day of Rest. But what if you don’t feel like resting. What if you feel like drinking? Well, you wouldn’t be the first and from this need to be up an about on a day so often known for relaxation, came the humble ‘Sunday Sesh’.
Not ones to back away from a good time, Bar Lune has teamed up with their friends at Seppeltsfield Wines to bring to you a Sunday Sesh, but not as you know it.
The relatively new venue has become a favourite on the Adelaide bar scene. With its funky, subdued interior and warm, fun approachable vibe, Bar Lune oozes contemporary chic while feeling open and homely all at the same time.

So, what better place to indulge on a Sunday afternoon! And unlike other Sunday sessions you’ve probably experienced, this one is a little more..classy. Kicking off from 12pm you’ll be treated to a three-course long-lunch menu showcasing the best of the Barossa.
Having served as Sous Chef at the iconic Ritz Hotel in London, Bar Lune’s Executive Chef knows a thing or two about good food. Adam Bowden has created a specially curated menu for this special Sunday occasion and while the exact details of the starter, main and dessert are yet to be revealed, what we do know is that the main course is one to remember. otelhHot
Going with the idea of a wholesome Sunday roast we all know and love, your taste buds will be treated to a succulent Hutton Vale Lamb Roast sourced straight from the Barossa property.

And a showcase of the best of the Barossa wouldn’t be complete without Seppeltsfield wines. On arrival, you’ll receive an Espresso Martawny – Seppeltsfield’s signature twist on the classic cocktail using the luxurious flavour profile of its Para Grand Tawny to create a sophisticated and creamy pick-me-up.
Seppeltsfield’s Chief Winemaker, Fiona Donald, has hand-selected the wineries most luxury drops to accentuate the menu and will be finished with a mystery (and very special) wine from the iconic Seppeltsfield Centennial Cellar, the only collection of its kind in the world.
Tickets for the Sunday Sesh with Seppeltsfield at Bar Lune are $99pp and can be purchased here.
Sunday Sesh with Seppeltsfield takes place on Sunday August 7 from 12pm.
Bar Lune is located at 303 The Parade, Beulah Park 5067
