Pizza, beer, and a boogie – what an epic combination!
Sunny’s Pizza and the West Oak Hotel are teaming up this month for an epic garden party.
The iconic pizza restaurant and much-loved bar will join together on July 31 for a night of music, drinks, and of course – pizza. The event is to celebrate Illuminate Adelaide’s closing night, and to celebrate, the West Oak exterior wall will be lit up with colourful lights, and there will be party lights inside. West Oak thinks the series has “saved the biggest and best event for last.”
The free event will see the Sunny’s Pizza van in the famous West Oak beer garden, serving pizzas to hungry customers. Partygoers can wash down their eats with $10 passionfruit mojitos while they listen to DJs. LL Cool Dre and Late Nite Lew will be on the tunes, so you can eat and drink to a groovy beat.
If you’re not up for a pizza, you can still enjoy the event and a dinner, as West Oak’s pub grub is also available.
The event begins at 6pm and goes until late… “real late.”
This event is set to close Illuminate Adelaide, a celebration of innovation, music, art and light. The series, which is Australia’s newest major winter event, has brought winter to life over 17 days and nights from 16 July.
Illuminate Adelaide lit up the city’s streets, laneways and architecture with a program of free and ticketed events by local, national and international artists and companies. In total, the event will feature more than 150 installations, performances, and events – including 41 world premieres.
The Sunny’s Pizza and West Oak Hotel collaboration will celebrate a successful closing with pizza, booze, and music.
West Oak Hotel will be abiding to all required COVID-19 restrictions at the time of this event.
