Ti juana grab a cocktail? Sunnyside Cafe & Bar are hosting its inaugural taco and tequila night on December 30, with bottomless tacos.
Cap off an unforgettable 2022 with tacos and a way to try forgetting at Henley Beach, because Sunnyside have announced that bookings are available from $59 per person (two-person minimum for booking).
In the tickets, you’ll have access to meat-clad, vegan and gluten-free tacos of your choosing, with a banquet meal and delicious dessert.
The salt of the beach will reach the salty rim of your margarita glass, whether you prefer a clean coupe, a semi-salt or you like to get a-salted with each sip of the best lime zest… Sunnyside will make sure to deliver on the drink department.
“We have a really great place and we’ve been doing some very ambitious things recently, because we’re a brunch spot but we’re now doing things like dumpling and wine tasting nights,” said Mattis Vanzati, one of the brothers behind Sunnyside.
“We wanted to do something summer-y, so we’ve really got the right place to do something like this and it’s absolutely the right time,” he added.
One cocktail is included in each endless taco ticket, because nothing beats Mexican food after alcohol… However, if you’re not yet satiated, the standard laundry-list of beer, wine, spirits and juices will be sure to quench your thirst.
It’s not just the classic lime juice, triple sec and tequila margarita on offer, because Sunnyside are also pouring a watermelon marg, which substitutes Cointreau for juicy pink watermelon juice and spicy margs, which kick things up a notch with some jalapeño.
Bookings are available from 6pm, with the last availability at 8pm and attendees are advised that there is a general 1.5 hour time-limit for guests if the venue is particularly busy.
However, if you are after a bottomless drink deal, Sunnyside offer an endless mimosa package for an hour and a half, from $35 per person, on the condition that all members of the table must participate.
It’s easy to mezcalculate how much you can eat, when the only limit is your stomach!
