There’s a whole host of exciting and diverse events this Adelaide Fringe; but none quite like this.
Templewood House – the gorgeous, turn-of-the-century lodge that is the perfect wedding and accommodation spot for many – is hosting a Fringe event for something really special this Mad March.
The beautiful, heritage lodge, very rarely open to the public, with its classic veranda and gardens, will be the setting behind the beautiful, harmonic sounds of the renowned String Source Quartet for one exclusive, twilight night.
The ensemble, led by Leah Zweck, will perform some of cinema’s most iconic and endearing music. From James Bond to La La Land to Die Hard, enjoy hearing these soundtracks brought to life, reimagined for string quartet.
And they’re sure to do it well. Leah’s musicians have performed with everyone from Michael Buble, Robbie Williams & Harry Connick Jr.
While you get transported into the magical word, you can munch on gourmet wood fired pizza, sip locally grown wine and watch the sun set over the stunning surrounding hills.
And if that’s not enough, you can also make a night of it in one of the house’s stunning en-suite bedrooms for just $200, including provisions for breakfast.
Templewood is a stunning equestrian property on the edge of the Millbrook Reservoir Reserve among some of the prettiest parts of the Adelaide Hills. The main attraction, Templewood House, is a turn of the century country lodge whose manicured gardens provide an incredible backdrop for weddings, accommodation and events.
But Templewood House is more than a wedding venue, with a range of events on the calendar. The High Paddock Hill with its 360 degree hills views alone is enough for me to be talking to you about this venue let alone the rest!
