Racegoers at Allan Scott Park Morphettville will be able to witness sporting legends go head to head Sunday 2 May at South Australia’s richest day of racing, the Unley Telstra Shop Super Sunday.

Off the track, champion jockey John Letts and Adelaide Crows star, Jason Porplyzia will try their luck in a Charity Punting Showdown.

South Australian Jockey Club (SAJC) Chief Executive Officer Brenton Wilkinson says, “We are excited to have an alignment between South Australian sporting legends and South Australia’s richest race day, where both punters are supporting excellent causes.”

Letts is representing the Living Legends organisation, the international home of rest for champion horses and Porplyzia is punting for the Crows Foundation.

Super Sunday’s racegoers are frocking and flocking to the Living Legends area, held in the Diva Lounge.

The package offers a unique experience right in the middle of the action, providing socialites and punters the chance to rub shoulders with sporting legends and SAFM’s breakfast presenter Cosi who will be hosting the Charity Punting Showdown.

As part of showdown weekend, SAJC have partnered with Adelaide Football Club and Port Adelaide Football Club, which will provide members of both clubs free general admission entry to the racecourse by displaying their current membership card.
