The Australian Offshore Superboats Championship is coming to Adelaide for the fourth and final round of the 2025-2026 season, bringing high-speed powerboat racing to South Australia’s shores. The championship, which unites the best racers from around the country, consists of four categories of varying speed and engine performance, marks a significant milestone for our state as it reaches its conclusion in Port Adelaide for the second season running.

Featuring top racers from over 15 teams, Offshore racing has been running for more than 50 years across Australia, inciting stiff competition over all championship classes, despite the fuel shortage proving an unfortunate obstacle for some competitors this current season.

This year will also feature some of the best drivers in the world, including former World Champions and a Bathurst 1000 winner, and is a true motorsport lover’s dream with a grand showcase of some of the biggest and highest performing speedboats in the industry.

The course runs approximately three kilometres north from Semaphore Jetty past Largs Jetty, and sticks to a set schedule with each day featuring three 30-minute races.

Catch all the on-water action from viewing points from North Haven to Largs, with spectators also having the opportunity to see the boats up close and personal and chat with the teams, as the boats will be moored at the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia in North Haven.

With a whole lot of action completely free to watch, you’ll want to gather up your friends and family, grab some lunch, and make a full day of it. If you have a need for speed, you won’t want to miss this event.
