To celebrate the 2016 Adelaide Fashion Festival and designers based across SA, Glam Adelaide are encouraging fashion lovers to showcase their favourite local labels and pieces.

We all have a little something tucked away in our wardrobe that was made locally. Whether it’s some jewellery from the Gilles Street Markets, a race day fascinator from one of our many local milliners, or some outfits from our fab Adelaide designers, there’s got to be some Adelaide fashion in your collection (and if there isn’t you need to correct this immediately!)

Well luckily for Adelaide’s fashionistas, your amazing support for our abundance of local talent is about to pay off. Big time.

From now until the upcoming Adelaide Fashion Festival presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide (19-23 Oct), we want you to share your love for Adelaide fashion by snapping a pic, posting it on Instagram and tagging #glamadelaide, #AFF16 AND #adelaidefashion to go in the running to win!

You can snap any South Australian-designed fashion item, whether it’s an oldie or newbie, in as many creative ways as you want – we just won’t accept the same photo twice. Clothing, accessories, shoes, hats, bridal gowns – the options are endless.

There are two prizes up for grabs:

BEST PHOTO as judged by the Glam Adelaide & Adelaide Fashion Festival teams will win a $500 voucher from The Daily Edited for their luxury, personalized monogrammed leather goods.

We’ll also randomly pick a winner (so even if you don’t have killer photography skills you still have a shot) to win a spot for you and a friend to sit second row to all three Adelaide Fashion Festival designer runways on Friday, 21st October, including collections from the likes of Alexis George, Jaimie Sortino, Liza Emanuele, The Daily Edited and Couture+Love+Madness to name just a few.
