Sustainable wine & fashion take centre stage at this AFW long lunch

Discover sustainable practices at this exclusive long lunch, panel discussion, and fashion show with Sunset Lover, Alkina Wines, and Mother Vine.

To celebrate the upcoming fashion season, ADL Fashion Week (AFW) is set to transform the CBD into a hive of activity, featuring shopping days, intimate dinners, and fashion shows, as well as free and exclusive fashion experiences.

In an extra special event, Luxury Australian Resort Wear brand, Sunset Lover, is collaborating with Greenock winery, Alkina Wines, to present Fashion – Wine – Future.

Fashion – Wine – Future will discuss sustainability across luxury fashion and regenerative viticulture – two topics dear to the hearts of the two sustainability-minded businesses.

What’s more, the consciously-designed resort wear brand will also be showcasing the runway debut of Sunset Lover’s resort collection.

Farmed organically and biodynamically, Alkina Wines aims to leave its vineyards’ soils and ecosystems healthier than what they found them. Whereas Sunset Lover is committed to using responsible fibres, plastic-free packaging, and transparent operations.

Adelaide personality Rebecca Morse will host the panel discussion on sustainability, while guests can enjoy the exclusive fashion show and a luxurious long lunch hosted by Mother Vine.

Mother Vine, located in Adelaide’s East End, offers guests a sophisticated wine bar experience and an SA-focussed dining menu.

Guests will be gifted a Sunset Lover tea towel as a take home gift, featuring print design from the resort collection which was inspired by archives in collaboration with the South Australian Museum.

When: 12pm Friday 7 October
Where: Mother Vine
Tickets: $239 including a take home gift from Sunset Lover (buy tickets here).
