Adelaide’s newest winery has popped up in McLaren Vale.

Located on owner Matt’s private property, Dr Plonk launched last weekend, to great excitement.

The estate welcomed visitors to their new outdoor shed/winery, showcasing some of the state’s finest wines paired with locally sourced food.

Dr Plonk is home to The Good Doctor and Chateau Dateau as well as the newly launched range of FU MANCHU wines

The estate has been honing their wine skills for over a decade now with owner Matt expanding his range of wines to include some easy-drinking, fruit-forward wines that show off the amazing fruit grown in the region, including the delicious FU MANCHU wines.

FU MANCHU wines are light, bright and juicy drinks, ideal for the warmer weather but are limited with only 25-50 dozen produced, as all the fruit used in Dr Plonk wines is grown on-site.

With sustainability a huge focus of the vineyard, we here at Glam give the winery a big tick of approval

Currently, Dr Plonk is only accepting tastings by appointment but plans to host ticked events and parties in the future.

They also plan on being a part of various tasting events including the cellar door fest later this year.

Dr Plonk’s next event will be held after vintage and will be invite-only to their mailing list so make sure you sign up below to avoid disappointment.

The winery is perched at the top of their vineyards and boasts sea views- the perfect spot for a party!
