If you’re looking for a mood boosting adrenaline hit this spring, head up the freeway to the Mount Lofty Adventure Hub.
There’s a range of exhilarating activities, but the one that has got us buzzing is the Mega Swing!
As the name suggests, this ain’t no standard swing. It’s a unique 18-metre 3-person giant swing.
If you can bear to keep your eyes open, you’ll see yourself swinging through the treetops in the picturesque surroundings of Mount Lofty.
The Mega Swing can take from 1 to 3 people at the same time and is available both as part of Mount Lofty Adventure Hub’s ‘RZM’ experience – which is available every weekend and during the school holidays, and for group bookings.
What’s the ‘RZM’ experience, we hear you ask? Well it’s your 90 minute adrenaline hit, combining 3 activities of a Rock Climb, Zipline and Mega Swing.
The rock climb is up the Adventure Tower, 15-metres in height and features SA’s highest artificial rock climbing and abseiling walls.
The Zipline is a 324 metre forest zipline, South Australia’s longest zipline, and we’re guessing not for the faint hearted.
The alternative is the RZM experience, which is the Rock Climb, Abseil and Zipline, but could you really go past the Mega Swing?
The Mount Lofty Adventure Hub is located in the Woodhouse Activity Centre, surrounded by natural forests and streams.
The best bit is, you don’t need to be an expert by any means, and it’s family friendly. There are no age restrictions, but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and for the younger kids, they must be a minimum of 120cm tall and weigh at least 25kgs.
Being part of the Woodhouse Activity Centre, there’s definitely a host of activities to make a full day out.
