In a show of strength reflective of its growing presence on South Australia’s orchestral music calendar, Adelaide Youth Orchestras' 2014 Season will be its largest ever, with more community concerts and a collaboration of ‘titanic’ proportions with the Elder Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra.
Adelaide Town Hall will come alive with the sound of Christmas music next Tuesday 3rd December with The Lord Mayor’s Gala for All Season’s Christmas Concert commencing at 12.30pm.
The Adelaide Youth Orchestras’ dynamic 2013 season will finish on a high note at Elder Hall on Sunday 24 November with an End of Year Concert featuring performances by three of AdYO’s orchestras - the Adelaide Youth Wind Orchestra, the Adelaide Youth Sinfonia and the Adelaide Youth Strings - including three new works by some of South Australia’s rising young composers.
