With many of the amazing musical acts already covered, the fourth and final day of WOMADelaide was an opportunity to check some of the other happenings around Botanic Park.
Mad March is here and Womadelaide is back, much to the joy of music and culture lovers. With music, food, shopping, dancing and a range of workshops, there is always something for everyone, including the kids.

A great start to day 3 of WOMADelaide saw Aussie legends of Aboriginal rock Coloured Stone bringing their earthy songs to the table which were layered with didgeridoo, some electric guitar, and stunning vocals in backup singer Cee-Cee Honeybee.
Earlier in the day Azadoota (Iraq/Aus) opened the Speakers Corner stage with a colourful and bright set consisting of some distinctly Middle Eastern sounds whilst Hanggai (China) once again took the crowd on a Mongolian horseback journey with their high-energy Mongolian influences.
The lovely Botanic Park once again comes alive with the sounds and smells of the world, and this year’s lineup for WOMADelaide is as impressive as ever. Opening night weather was perfect for the launch of The World’s Festival, and the acts on offer did not disappoint one bit.
The countdown to Adelaide's landmark festival of Music and Dance is upon us, and this years spectacular lineup will feature over 500 performers from 25 countries over the four days of WOMADelaide. (Mar 7-10)

A hot long weekend drew large crowds to WOMADelaide once again this year to enjoy the usual diverse range of music and the many other associated events on offer.

WOMADelaide organisers have reported that over the past few days the festival’s daily ticket sales have been 12% ahead of those for the same period last year.
If you’re looking for a relaxed night out in Adelaide, head into the city just off Plane Tree Drive. The service is friendly, the setting is relaxed and magical, and it really is like no other ordinary night out at the movies.
