d’Arenberg is once again throwing its support behind International Grenache Day on September 21st with specialised tastings at cellar door, a regional ‘tweet-up’ and specially developed dishes at d’Arry’s Verandah Restaurant. The date will also mark the release of the 2010 vintages of the sub-regional Grenaches from Chester Osborn’s ‘Amazing Sites’ project.
International Grenache Day will be celebrated at the National Wine Centre on September 23rd by wineries - Yangarra Estate Vineyard, Dog Ridge, d’Arenberg, Olivers Taranga Vineyard & Samuel’s Gorge that formulate the The McLaren Vale Cadenzia project.
Lovers of Grenache are invited to unite on the 24th of September 2010 for the first annual International Grenache Day - a day for restaurants, wine associations, wine merchants and producers, and fans of great wine around the world celebrate the many intricacies and virtues of the worlds most widely planted red grape.
