As a teenager, Akram Khan performed in Peter Brook’s seminal work Mahabharata. Now in middle-age, and with residencies at Sadler’s Wells London and Curve Leicester, Khan has revisited this epic in Until the Lions.
The Suit is set in a 50’s South African township during apartheid where a husband & wife are irrevocably changed after an affair.
With themes covering our need for love, connectivity and community; plays consisting of classics, new Australian works and works daring to push the envelope; and a line up of local, interstate and even international talent, next year’s season promises to be quite exciting with a little something for everyone.
