2014 is the 10th anniversary of the Semaphore Music Festival proudly presenting three days and four nights of original, alt. country, roots & blues, rockabilly and nu-folk live music.
The Australian music festival calendar has just had another event added to this year's line up with the Follow The Sun Festival being announced for Adelaide.
Described as country, blues and roots inspired by the devil, Doc White’s music has been speaking to him in a special way for over 40 years and is by the artist’s own admission, a religious experience. But Doc White isn't the Robert Leroy Johnson type and certainly hasn’t sold his soul to the devil at the crossroads, but he has his own unique style and is a master blues musician.
Over two days, October 27 - 28, Fox Creek will showcase the eclectic Blues and Roots culture of Australia through four live performances by five of the country’s most talented musicians.
Contemporary roots band, The Stillsons, will be finishing off their ‘Earnest’ national album tour with two shows in Adelaide on the 19th and 20th of November. Wade Stokes from Glam Adelaide was lucky enough to catch up with Justin Bernasconi from The Stillsons to talk about everything from the band’s origins, to Earnest and what’s next on the agenda for this talented group of musicians.
