Tennessee William’s classic play Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, deals with the recurring themes of mendacity and death.
August: Osage County is the comic-tragic story of the very dysfunctional Weston family in all their alcoholic, drug-induced, pot-smoking, abusive splendour.
The famous ‘memory play’, written by ‘Tennessee’ Williams, is getting another outing under the direction of Artistic Director, Adam Cook. Cook is going out on a triumphal high note with this production.
This work missed the mark badly, not helped by many technical issues. It relies a little too much 'on the kindness of strangers'.
This is another winning production from this talented and enthusiastic team and you should certainly try to get a ticket before it sells out.
