South Africa’s wine regions share a similar latitude to South Australia’s – but who does it better?

The National Wine Centre will put ‘SA vs SA’ wines to the taste test throughout the evening with Head Sommelier James Boden guiding guests through the regions.

While it is becoming common knowledge that the food of South Africa is some of the best in the world, the team at the National Wine Centre will have guests questioning how it compares to local grown and loved South Australian fare.

Executive Chef Steven Clark was awarded 2020 Chef of the Year at the Restaurant and Catering awards in South Australia and has designed the events fabulous four-course menu that will showcase classic South African dishes made with South Australian produce.

One of the most popular bucket list places to visit in the world is South Africa and, aside from the wildlife, the joy of discovering the incredible flavours of the food and wine of the magnificent country is high on the ‘must do list’.

This is a dining experience that will give South Australian’s the taste for travel without even leaving the State. The interactive food station and live entertainment make this Winter Series event, one not to be missed!

The NWC On Safari Dinner will begin at 6:30pm on Wednesday, August 25.
