Tandanya Forthcoming Important Exhibition

Tandanya NACI is proud to present three important shows displaying over 40 works.

TandanyaAppearing in the main galleries and the Kaurna Gallery at Tandanya, the body of works is open to the public from Friday 6 February 2015 until 21 March 2015.

To mark the occasion, artists Archie Moore and Jandamarra Cadd will be giving complementary presentations the day after the opening:

Archie Moore – Saturday 7 February 2015, 11am to 12pm
Jandamarra Cadd – Saturday 7 February 2015, 12pm to 1pm
The artworks, by Tjamu Murray George, Inawynitji Williamson, Tjinkuma Wells, Purki Edwards and Kanginy George, feature traditional representations of tjukula (rockholes), tali (sandhills) and kungkarangkalpa (Seven Sisters).

The featured works will also be displayed alongside additional examples by other South Australian-based artists currently featured in the Gallery Shop.

Although presented as three separate exhibitions, overall the depth of representation gives a deep and valuable insight into more traditional and contemporary arts practices and the important stories they convey.
