Tapanappa Wines to host a Sundown Cinema on the lawns of their stunning winery

Tapanappa Wines is hosting a Sundown Cinema session, screening a goergous French wine film on a screen nestled amongst its gorgeous winery.

Located in the serene Piccadilly Valley in the Adelaide Hills, Tapanappa is known for its Tiers Vineyard chardonnay,  a hidden gem of sorts.

It is renowned for its gorgeous grounds, sweeping views and sleek, architectural cellar door.

Nestled here, in this beautiful location, you’ll be able to relax with a glass of world-class award winning wine and watch Back To Burgundy on a large, outdoor screen at the winery’s annual Sundown Cinema.

Marked by an uncommon sense of nuance and emotional restraint, Back to Burgundy is a sumptuously-filmed parable of sibling camaraderie and imploding familial ties.

This gorgeous French family saga begins as winemaker Jean (Pio Marmaï) returns to his childhood home in Burgundy after his father falls ill. Along with his estranged siblings Juliette (Ana Girardot) and Jérémie (François Civil), Jean is tasked with taking over the family’s vineyard.

The trio must learn to put aside their lingering resentments as they seek to defy expectations and maintain their father’s legacy in this heartfelt love letter to two of France’s greatest passions – family and wine! Please note the movie is in French, with English subtitles.

The event is strictly no BYO as wine and beer will be available for purchase on the night. It gets cold at night in the Adelaide Hills so remember to bring along warm clothes, too.

Pack a picnic, a beanbag and a blanket and settle in for a night (and wine) to remember.
