Hot on the heels of their successful 2022 luncheon, Little Heroes Foundation has today announced the return of their inspiring Women in Business Luncheon at the National Wine Centre this March.
This years line up is impressive to say the least. You will hear from keynote speaker Taryn Brumfitt, who began Body Image Movement on the belief that your body is not an ornament, it’s the vehicle to your dreams.
Following this, there will be a guest panel consisting of co-founders of al.ive body range Alisa and Lysandra Fraser, and Nova Jane, founder of Fitcover, sweat-proof, cruelty-free makeup, and beauty and wellness products made for active lifestyles.
Guests will be able to a delectable two-course lunch, plus dessert and a 3 hour drinks package. Delicious wines will be supplied by Mollydooker Wines.
All funds raised from Little Heroes Women in Business Luncheon will go towards their Raise it for Renee Campaign, helping children and families who have been impacted by this devastating condition.
Childhood dementia results from progressive brain damage caused by 70+ genetic conditions causing a child to progressively lose skills such as the ability to write, read, talk, walk, and play. This can happen over months or years as their brains slowly deteriorate which eventually leads to the inability to keep the body functioning properly and, eventually, to keep the body alive.
Body Image Movement believes that everyone has the right to love and celebrate their body, regardless of shape, size, ethnicity or ability. Through Taryn’s award- winning films, bestselling books, and international speaking engagements, she has spent the last 10 years empowering people around the world to discover what’s possible when you embrace your life and purpose. Taryn’s first film Embrace is one of the most successful documentaries in Australian history and has spawned a sequel, books, and an online course – you can watch her inspiring documentary on Netflix.
