As of today, Tasmania has eased border restrictions with “low-risk” areas, including South Australia.

Conditions of entry into Tasmania will depend on where travellers have spent time prior to arrival.

Those wishing to enter Tasmania must register their travel and contact details via the Tas e-Travel system a maximum of three days before arrival.

Low-risk areas include:

  • Queensland
  • Australian Capital Territory
  • South Australia
  • Western Australia
  • Northern Territory
  • New Zealand
