A free pop-up tasting event named ‘Taste of the Goody’ is coming to Goodwood this weekend with some free samples for you to pop in and try before heading off for dinner a local restaurant or a show at the local Goodwood Theatre.
Locals are encouraged to book into dinner on the night of the event at a local restaurant or a show at the local Goodwood Theatre and Studios “Victoria Lane” or the Ocean Film Festival at the Capri and to stop in along the way to try out the tasting event before going to their evening event.
Amid the hustle and bustle of the Fringe mayhem, you will find this hidden gem tucked away in the tranquil town of Goodwood.
Located just outside the city near Unley, Goodwood is known for its laid-back atmosphere and alternative vibe, with quirky shops selling unique fashion and interesting trinkets to organic cafes, eateries and farmers’ markets, Goodwood has it all.
You can look forward to seeing an impressive amount of your favourite Goody bites at the park side location where they will provide a taste of their wares as well as tonnes of activities and events to occupy your time. The event will host tastings from Goodwood food icons such as Pizza Pizzaz, En Japanese, Yeti Nepalese, Lemongrass, Vietnam Gourmet, Candela Latin American Food, and Trouble & Strife and Eggless Dessert Cafe sweet treats.
From tasting Izakaya-style foods and sipping on Sake to treating yourself to unique desserts like Watermelon, Strawberry & Rosewater Tiramisu with Eggless Dessert Cafes delicate bites, one thing there won’t be is a shortage of things to try.
