Taste Of The South: Longview Vineyard Hosts Sell-Out Event Hill County

Longview Vineyard’s Hill Country event is set for another cracking year with open fires, winter reds and slow cooked meats.

The Winter Reds Festival is fast approaching and ” Longview Vineyard will are set to crank up the smoker for a US-style, slow-cooked BBQ and crack open the museum reds for their annual sell-out event, ‘Hill County.’

Hosted in Longview’s rustic 1920’s barn with open fires, punters can indulge in a shared three-part specially crafted menu.

Enjoy Southern-style starters including New Orleans Prawn ‘Po’ Boy and low & slow-cooked mains like 12 hr. Texas Style Brisket with Jalapeno Coleslaw & House-Made Green Tomato Pickle. Making it even more irresistible: All-American Apple Pie with House-Made Vanilla Bean Ice Cream & Salted Caramel Popcorn.

Longview Vineyard Marketing Manager, Mark Saturno said: “There’s nothing like this sort of comfort food on a Winter’s day. And guests receive their first pour of either sparkling or museum red on the house, then they can top up their keepsake Adelaide Hills Festival wine glass with more choices of our current and museum release award winning reds.”

Smoking hot live Blues, Funk and Soul by Brian Ruiz and The ShiZZLE will put some boogie in your bowl all afternoon.
