The Coonawarra is coming to Adelaide for one-night and one-night-only, with several wineries collaborating to create a city cellar door this November.

Taste the amazing and diverse flavours of the Limestone Coast region in this epic celebration of the Coonawarra. An array of premium producers and boutique winemakers from the wine lover’s location will be making the trek to the National Wine Centre on November 21.

Tickets to the Coonawarra Cellar Door in the City event are priced at $55 per person, granting guests of the exclusive event a souvenir Plumm wine glass, complimentary food and entry to the two-hour wine tasting.

The event will run over two day sessions, with the first kicking off at 11am on Sunday. The second session will commence at 1:30pm.

Joining the star-studded lineup of wineries is Wynns Coonawarra and Rymill Coonawarra – two iconic institutions of the region – showcasing their award-winning tipples across the afternoon.

Taste other fine wines from the likes of Penley Estate, Redman Wines, Riddoch Wines and Zema Estate Wines as you take your taste buds on a journey through the best the Coonawarra has to offer.

The Coonawarra is best known for the outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz varieties thanks to their cooler climate on the Limestone Coast.

While the region regularly produces award-winning reds, an array of tipples will be on offer on the day, from Merlot to Sparking Red and White, Pinot Gris and even Rosé.

For those wanting to immerse themselves further into the array of flavours emerging from the region, an epic Masterclass will be hosted at the second-afternoon session. Guests will be guided through the ‘Vintage of the Century – 2010’ through internationally famed regions including Bordeaux. Tickets cost $195 for the master class into the stunning drops from 2010.

This will be the Coonawarra’s only roadshow for 2021, so if you’re curious to taste the award-winning flavours of the stunning region, this is the event to pencil into your diaries.
