Tasting Australia Is Coming To Rundle Mall This Year With A New Pop-Up!

Tasting Australia is bringing the food and wine to you while you shop in Rundle Mall.

For the first time ever Rundle Mall will give shoppers, visitors and city workers the chance to experience Tasting Australia in the Mall for the week-long festival, Saturday 29 April until Sunday 7 May.

This year, The Urban Pantry, located at Gawler Place in Rundle Mall, will offer free tastings of a wide range of produce from various regions of SA including cheese, smallgoods, olives, nuts and crackers, ice-cream, chocolate, honey, specialty coffee and tea, and more.

Visitors can also partake in the Grazing Trail between 5th-7th May by following a map at their own convenience to 10 different locations where they will receive tastings, free samples and special offers. Grazing Trail tote bags and maps can be collected for free from the Urban Pantry.

Rundle Mall’s Tasting Australia events and pop-ups are about offering locals and visitors the chance to sample a wide range of delicious food from South Australian producers and brands and take Tasting Australia home to stock their own pantry.

Rundle Mall Management Authority (RMMA) General Manager, Amanda Grocock, says the sponsorship is recognition of the depth of choice across retail, food and beverage and services in the Mall.

“We are a diverse retail hub bringing together a wide range of food outlets, lifestyle and home brands as well as the latest in fashion.

“We saw the opportunity to provide easy and accessible ways for people to experience Tasting Australia with pop-ups and events that do not require bookings. People can simply drop by at their leisure to sample a wide range of produce from all over the state in the heart of the city,” said Ms Grocock.

The Urban Pantry will pop-up at Gawler Place from Saturday 29 April until Sunday 7 May. The Grazing Trail will be available from Friday 5 May to Sunday 7 May.
